Palawa Pigments

Palawa Pigments is a Tasmanian art and pigment studio founded by Aboriginal man Andrew Mansell (Palawa) and his wife, Jacquelyn Mansell. Together they produce a wide range of handcrafted watercolour paints, curated travel palettes, artist tools, and place-based painting experiences inspired by Lutruwita/ Tasmania’s landscapes and living cultural knowledge.

Their painting pads and guided creative experiences invite people to slow down, observe, and connect more deeply with place. Designed and crafted in Lutruwita, Palawa Pigments offers visitors and locals a meaningful way to engage with Country through colour, creativity, and story.
